This class is designed for those new to the practice of yoga. Class is focused on developing safe alignment, strength and flexibility in foundational poses.
BEGINNER WITH CHAIR
This beginner level yoga class combines seated stretching, development of balance in standing poses & the use of a chair as a prop as you build strength and flexibility.
Start your day with an hour of guided stretching to awaken and vitalize the body. Prevent injury and reduce chronic pain by maintaining the flexibility of your joints and muscles. Appropriate for all levels.
Yin Yoga is a practice of deeply held stretching that focuses on freeing up the tight connective tissue (fascia) that forms around our muscles and joints. Yin postures are practiced seated or lying on the floor and are held for 3-5 minutes each. Guided holds in each posture offer an opportunity for inner reflection and release. Emerge from this practice feeling physically, emotionally, and spiritually renewed. Suitable for all levels.
Restorative yoga is a restful, therapeutic style of yoga that uses props to support the body as guided meditation techniques ease you into deep relaxation. This class is for anyone who wants to dissolve physical and mental tension.
In this class you will learn how to calm your mind, settle your body and achieve healing of the mind, body and spirit. All levels of meditators will benefit from this class.
