About Margaret Ziegler
Margaret is co-owns The Jiiva Center with her twin sister, Elizabeth.
Knowing early in life that her purpose was to help & heal others, Margaret began a career in nursing at the age of 23. During this training she was introduced to a healing modality called Reiki by the nurses who mentored her. She immediately knew this was a practice she wanted to integrate into her care of others but had no idea how life changing this would turn out to be for her own healing journey and her work in the future. Margaret went on to become a Nurse Practitioner and spent the next 15 years providing medical care to patients in Internal Medicine, Geriatric, and Psychiatric settings, where healing modalities such as Reiki and energy healing have not yet been widely embraced. Throughout her years working with traditional western medicine, Margaret noticed that despite medical interventions, many patients continued to become more ill or develop new ailments (including herself!). It became clear to her that in order to truly help people heal she needed to focus on treating the underlying emotional and energetic causes of the physical & mental symptoms from which so many suffer. She began having dreams that she worked in a wellness center with other like-minded healers to provide truly holistic care to her community. Always one to follow her intuition and heart, when the opportunity came she partnered with her sister to bring this dream into reality! At The Jiiva Center, Margaret practices with a Holistic style of care for her community, helping to heal not just the body, but also the mind and the spirit with sessions including Spiritual Counseling, Reiki, Herbal Supplementation, Meditation, Sound & Yoga. She also commits herself to the education of others so that they are empowered to take control of their health and advance along their spiritual journeys.
