About Elizabeth Ziegler
From a very young age, Elizabeth has had a strong awareness that something much deeper underlies what we see and experience in our physical world. As an empath and intuit, Elizabeth has always felt a calling to help others understand the root causes of their mental and emotional struggles in order to find resolution and peace within themselves. Initially, her pursuit as a healer took a very traditional, academic route. Naturally, she thought, when seeking to understand why we think and feel the way we do, a study of psychology was the logical place to begin. This quickly did not satisfy and led Elizabeth to a deep study of neuroscience and molecular biology. Yet still, so much was left unanswered. The causes of human disease and suffering remained elusive. Ever the committed student, Elizabeth continued her scientific studies at the doctoral level and performed biomedical research, convinced that this would lead her to discovering the source of human disease and dysfunction. However, she still could not find in-depth enough answers to those nagging questions - why and how? It was not until Elizabeth went back to what she knew as a child - that spirit and energy underlie all that we are and all that we do - that she finally found a path of study that filled in the gaps left from her more traditional education. It is through the ancient teachings about energy, spirit, and the soul's journey that Elizabeth has been able to find answers that resonate as true and complete.
And so began this current chapter of Elizabeth's life, filled with energy work, meditation, and self study. And what a happier and healthier chapter it has been! Blessed with a gift and passion for teaching, Elizabeth now devotes most of her time to educating others about the sources of their suffering and about the power they contain within themselves to achieve and sustain physical and mental/emotional wellness. Paired with her work as an energy healer and spiritual counselor, Elizabeth has taught countless students the beautiful art of Reiki healing and continues to offer Reiki I, Reiki II, and Reiki Masters classes. She is also passionate about supporting those who seek to bring meditation into their lives and leads Jiiva's Mindfulness & Meditation Training course.
